2024 EHS Congress London - Wellbeing - how do we create measurable results

Date: Tue, 3rd Dec 2024 - Wed, 4th Dec 2024

The International Institute of Leadership and Safety Culture (IILSC), owned by the executive education club CEDEP, is a global hub for leaders to meet, talk, learn, and create safety excellence.

The EHS Conference is a health and safety conference, taking place for the 8th time, this year for the first time in London. It offers engaging workshops, insightful keynotes and vigorous panel debates.

Our managing partner, Rachel Lewis, will be part of a panel discussion about: Wellbeing - how do we create measurable results:

"Whilst mental ill health may be being destigmatised and we may be learning better self care practices, organisations are arguably not making a measurable difference with the wellbeing strategies they are employing. Sickness levels are at an all time high, engagement is low and when it comes to the link between safety and wellbeing little research is being done. As health and safety professionals, we know that prevention is where we should start, yet when it comes to wellbeing, our interventions are mostly at the lowest point in the hierarchy of risk control.

This panel looks at interventions which look at creating workplaces in which people can be safe and healthy.
• How organisational stress risk assessment supports prevention
• How cultural approaches work
• What measurements can be used for wellbeing strategies and where we are seeing results"
