Senior Leader Coaching Programme

Why we need it

Research by Deloitte (2022) tells us that 82% of senior leaders are experiencing exhaustion, with half leaving, moving roles or moving to part time roles in order to cope. It also tells us that senior leaders find talking to others about their own mental health and wellbeing particularly difficult and can often feel that they lack an obvious peer group for support.

What we offer

We have developed a tailored wellbeing coaching programme for senior leaders to both enable and better support their own mental health and wellbeing, along with that of their team members and wider organisation.

How it works

  • Monthly sessions over 6 months.
  • Whilst the content of each session is driven by the client's particular needs and demands, there is a focus area for each session which will enable skills to build over time.
  • These focus areas develop the senior leader's skills in awareness and management of their own mental health and wellbeing; the risks to mental health and wellbeing in the workplace; and the mental health and wellbeing in others.
  • Following each session, a summary of the session is sent, along with an agreed plan of action for the following month.
  • The session summaries and action plans are accompanied by resources and exercises to complete before the next session.
  • All sessions are provided by Affinity Health at Work employees who are highly skilled in both mental health at work and coaching practice.
